Course start date: 29 September 2018
 -
Course end date: 6 October 2018

Mastering the art of leadership is an ambitious and worthwhile undertaking. We think that constantly improving and developing one´s own leadership skills is possible and necessary. The course concept is based on the idea that a guided journey linking your values, personality and experience in fragile environments with your leadership skills is the best way to master leadership.

Peace operations under the mandates of the UN, EU, and OSCE, as well as other international interventions in fragile environments operate in a context that is characterized by diversity, insecurity, fragility and uncertainty. Highly skilled leadership is all the more crucial in these environments, as it contributes to effective mandate implementation, to the legitimacy of international actors, and to the welfare and well-being of staff.

This course concept is based on the combination of values, personalities and experiences of executives with their leadership qualities in order to better master leadership tasks in peacekeeping missions.

The course is intended for future civil, police and military executives working in peace operations or fragile environments.
