Conflict Management
The baculovirus expression system is commonly used to generate recombinant proteins in insect cells (sf9 insect cells) at higher production levels, in comparison to bacterial expression systems. A series of molecular cloning technologies have been introduced to the system to improve the recombination efficiency by modifying the baculoviral genomic DNA. Several commercialized baculovirus expression vector systems (BEVS) are developed, such as BacPAK6, Bac-to-Bac, flashBac, and BacMagic. Creative Biogene has constructed compatible baculovirus expression vectors for high-throughput protein expression.
Baculoviruses engineered to display foreign peptides and proteins on the viral surface have proven particularly useful as immunogens. Both surface display and capsid fusions may provide further opportunities for enhancing and targeting baculovirus-mediated transduction of mammalian cells.
Creative Biogene has years of experience providing gene expression services with a skilled team of scientists who will work with you in developing your protein or peptide of interest. We offer protein expression services utilizing e. coli expression, baculovirus expression, yeast expression, gene synthesis, and peptide synthesis, as well. Contact us for more details.
