The course aims at building the capacities of security personnel
and some stakeholders to preventing and countering violent extremism in Africa.
The Security Sector Reform Course introduces participants to some key principles, approaches, and
areas of security sector reform with specific focus on Police and other Law Enforcement Agencies, and specifies
effective strategies for deriving maximum benefits from the course. It also
brings out best practices that ensure distinct compliance. Essentially,
